On Monday, we gathered at the “Talking Room” – psychosocial support. We expressed our wishes and decisions for 2024. In this way, we encouraged our members to think about their everyday lives, and what they would like to change or improve.
On Tuesday, we dedicated ourselves to non-violent problem-solving. We must support our members so that they can adapt as successfully as possible to a large number of colourful personalities. In this way, given the increase in our membership, we reduce the risk of potential conflicts and teach them that conflict situations are part of everyday life, and how they can be resolved peacefully.
On Wednesday, we devoted ourselves to culinary arts. Buying the necessary ingredients is the first step of our culinary activity. In addition to independence, procurement encourages socialization, orientation in space and responsibility. Did you know that our members purchase food items needed for culinary activities?
Thursday was reserved for the “Drumming Circle”. Music therapy is one of the favorite activities of our members, and they always wait impatiently for Thursday, so they can drum. With music therapy, we work on the expression of emotions and self-confidence.
Friday was dedicated to breathing exercises and emotions. The volunteers clearly showed the connection between mind and body and how feelings affect the body.
