The Teaching Institute for Public Health of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County gave us a helping hand towards the end of the year!

On Thursday, December 21st, 2023, we received a donation from the Teaching Institute for Public Health of PGC. These materials and tools, which are very important for our work, from mixers to crayons and scissors, from paper to glue, sewing accessories and other necessities, were collected by the employees of this important health institution.

We were warmly received by the deputy director, Dolores Vlahov Paulic, who we’ve known for a long time; she is now in her new role, but always by our side, and giving everything to increase the visibility of our work and of the persons with disabilities for whom we work.

That’s why today was very emotional, and it all ended with new ideas for new ways of cooperation. And, of course, the joy of our young people.

Cooperation with the Education Institute has been ongoing for two cycles of our 3-year programs; this institution was our partner in the 3-year program “DIP’s Youth Club”, but also in the new one, Daycare Center Friends, funded by: the Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Families and social policy system, Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, City of Rijeka, ACI Marinas, City of Kastav and others.

A big thank you to everyone who gave and brought us these useful gifts, very valuable to us because we need them for our work, thank you to everyone who gave their time and money to us!

Have no doubts, our members will put it all to good use: for cooking, for everyday hygiene, for artistic activities, for the garden, for sewing…so we invite you to visit us when you can.

We want to say thank you once again!
