Mobility team from “DIP’s Youth Club Ready, Steady, Work!”
Mobility team for psychosocial support is active throughout the whole summer, preparing plans and procedures needed for work with DIP members and their families, but also with members and their families gathered in the Association of people with intellectual difficulties, Srce Rijeka (Klub Srce Rijeka), who are our partners on the program.
In the mobility team, two psychologists are hired, who work in cooperation with experts, whom we cooperate with since the establishment of the DIP – doctors and social pedagogues.
This is the first time in the history of activities of the civil society organizations in our sector, that there is a mobility team at the disposal of the people we work for and their families; one that will provide them with social service for psychosocial support in the name of two organizations. Last week, we had meetings with our partners on the program “DIP’s Youth Club – Ready, Steady, Work!”, that is co-financed by the Ministry of Demographics, Family, Youth and Social Policy – now the Ministry of Labor, Pensions, Family and Social Policy.
This is the first step towards networking all the organizations that work for the same people that our two associations work for! Our program “Ready, Steady, Work!” is co-financed by the Primorsko-goranska County, while the 3-year program “Comprehensive care for people with intellectual disabilities/difficulties – phase 2” is co-financed by the same Ministry and the City of Rijeka.
