This Monday, we devoted ourselves to learning the basics of the Italian language, at the activity “Parliamo in Italiano“.
Learning a foreign language encourages the creation of more positive attitudes and overcomes prejudices towards people who are (culturally) different.
Studying a new culture helps us get to know and understand our own culture more deeply, and increases our sense of self-confidence.
Tuesday was reserved for modeling activity – with the support of Professor Rifat, we finished working on our wooden spice holders, which will soon be ready for use.
On Wednesday, we cleaned and tidied up the area of the DIP. Among our members, with “work actions”, we encourage the development and adoption of working habits of maintaining the space where we regularly stay.
After cleaning, we relaxed with dancing and music. On Thursday, we held music therapy, “Drumming circle”.
Did you know that we hold drumming activities regularly once a week and at least 15 members participate in them? We rounded off Friday with a recreational activity
During the half-day stay. We place great emphasis on physical activity, and regularly hold recreational activities, whether in the DIP or the fresh air. We also held a big birthday celebration for our Leon, Helena Ć., Sanela and Matea.
