We started the week with a work action. Our work actions allow us to always work in a neat and clean space.
On Tuesday, we hung out in our new kitchen and prepared two delicious and healthy dishes – pumpkin soup and gluten-free pizzas. Culinary activities encourage healthy eating habits and the development of basic culinary knowledge and skills.
On Wednesday, we held the now well-known music therapy, “Drumming Circle”.
Drumming is one of our favorite activities, besides having fun, it helps us develop rhythm, motor skills and creativity. Did you know that the bongo drum, one of the drums we play on, was invented in the eastern part of Cuba in the nineteenth century?
Thursday was used for a recreational activity, which we spent in the gym of the Rowing Club Jadran Rijeka with the help of coach Marko. Friends from the half-day stay joined us in training. Health is very important to us, therefore, in addition to proper nutrition, we work on moving enough, so we often have recreational activities.
Friday brought us a sewing activity, as part of which we made many new ‘Hildas’ and several dwarfs.
