- CHILDREN AND YOUTH
In order to start the week in the best possible way, on Monday we held a psychological meeting (psychosocial support) where, with the help of our psychologist, Karmen, we talked about the topics that bother us. Our friends from the half-day stay also participated in this activity.
On Tuesday, we dedicated ourselves to a modeling activity that helps us develop the fine motor skills of our fingers, and also gives us the opportunity to see the fruits of our work. So, in our space, we have a lot of aids (e.g. coasters, spice rack, bread rack…) that we made during past modeling activities with the help of professor Rifat.
On Wednesday, we “rolled up our sleeves” at a culinary activity. Considering that some of us prefer sweet and some prefer salty, we decided to make both sweet and salty pancakes so that everyone would end the day full and satisfied.
We started Thursday with music therapy, “Drumming circle”, which helps us use positive energy in a creative way.
We ended the week in good rhythm with body percussion. Body percussion, or playing on the body, is an activity that helps us develop concentration, coordination and rhythm because we have to simultaneously: use the body to produce sound and follow the rhythm of the music. This activity is conducted by Professor Lucija Soldo, who has been professionally engaged in music for many years.
