On Monday, we went to the “Zeleni Kastav” fair. At the moment, the fair is in its holiday edition, so we especially enjoyed the company. “Zeleni Kastav” allows us to include our members in the community, and also to present our products and work.
On Tuesday, at brunch, we hung out with the team from the half-day stay and Professor Rifat. The Professor holds modeling activities for us, and at the end of the year, we decided to say goodbye with good food. We are extremely glad and grateful to have such kind and selfless volunteers, who enrich our program. Many thanks to the restaurant “Štorija” for the hospitality, kindness and excellent food.
On Wednesday, we used our numbers to our advantage, to prepare two dishes. For the main dish, we made vegetarian tortillas that we baked in the oven, and for the sweet dish, we prepared princess donuts. Culinary activities are important to us, not only for the sake of culinary skills but also for the development of teamwork and the ability to perform several tasks at the same time.
On Thursday, at music therapy, after the obligatory drumming, we were introduced to a new instrument – the “pulse tube”. Did you know that this instrument is often used for music therapy?
On Friday, in the first part, we had a body percussion activity held by volunteer, Lucija Soldo. In the second part, volunteers Lucija and Hana, from FFRI, conducted an educational activity on the topic of healthy love and friendship relationships. We spent the whole day in the company of the team from the half-day stay service.
