Notice to members, partners and associates.

Non-profit organizations received instructions from the Ministry of Finance to switch to the EURO. Even though it has since become common knowledge, we still want to inform our members, associates and partners about the short-term effects of this decision on ways of doing business. https://euro.hr

That’s why we will soon be showing the amount of the membership fee two-fold, in kunas and euros, in order to achieve a smoother transition.

We will adopt the financial plan of the DIP for 2023 in December 2022, and it will be expressed in euros, according to these instructions. When it comes to making financial reports for non-profit organizations, it is important to determine the period to which the report in question refers.

Therefore, reports relating to the period ending before the day of the introduction of the euro are compiled and published in such a way that the values stated in them are expressed in kuna. Reports after the day of the introduction of the euro are compiled and published in such a way that they are expressed in euros.

All debts for the membership fees from 2022 will be paid by December 31st, 2022, with members paying in kuna, and for December 2022 it will also be possible to pay in euros. Beginning with the day of the introduction of the euro, it will no longer be possible to carry out payment transactions in kuna. Therefore, with the introduction of the euro, payment orders will be executed exclusively in euros. With regard to the principle of efficiency and economy, a payment order (payment slip) printed by the payee and delivered to the payer in advance, and submitted by the payer for execution to a bank or other payment service provider, after the day of introduction of the euro, is executed in euros, by converting the amount expressed in kuna into euro, with the application of a fixed conversion rate and in accordance with the rules for conversion stipulated by the Act on the Introduction of the euro.
