Today marks the International Volunteers Day, the goal of which is to make all the activities of volunteers and their voluntary work visible at the local, national and international level!
On this occasion, on Friday, December 3rd, 2021, we attended the 15th “Volunteers of the Year” award ceremony of Primorsko-goranska County and Udruga Smart, which was won by our volunteer Sandra Zgodić. In addition to her, our volunteer Katarina Erak, who, along with Sandra, stood out for her efforts and commitment in the community, received praise from the Volunteer Center of the SMART Association for her volunteer engagement. Congratulations once again to our volunteers!
This year is also special for our association, because the Society for Research and Support (DIP), won SMART’s “Volunteering Organizer 2021” award.
Thank you, Primorsko-goranska County, the City of Rijeka and the SMART Association for recognizing our volunteer engagement; we will continue our work with even greater enthusiasm!
