Alen Civić gave us our first new drum for our “Drumming circle!” We give our heartfelt thanks! The campaign “Let me keep drumming!” continues!

From Thursday, July 20th ,2023 onwards, a new drum lives at the DIP, and it was donated by Mr. Alen Civić from Rijeka. Our members and participants of the activity were extremely happy with the new instrument and the new sound, thanks to our new donor. You can still donate and you will surely do the right thing.

Starting from the spring of 2023, we are collecting funds for our “Drumming Circle”. The campaign called “Let me keep drumming!” can still be found on the A1 platform “Do the right thing!” There are many of us, so let this new drum be an incentive for you to support us too! We need more instruments so that our beneficiaries don’t play drums on old and worn-out instruments anymore. This activity develops motor skills, auditory functions, cognitive functions, it has a calming influence and creates a sense of teamwork.

So far, we have collected about 400 euros for this activity, and we need about 5,000 euros annually:

We are especially pleased when the citizens recognize our needs and decide to donate part of their time and resources. Our new donor and supporter is Mr. Alen Civić from Rijeka, who bought us a new drum, according to the agreement with our activity mentor, Ph.D. Luka Aničić, who leads this musical activity.
