DIP means: a lot of heart. lots of love, free time; using our own knowledge and experiences; The DIP has all the hearts of all the volunteers, because we cannot make it without them.
Human support is irreplaceable and that is why we are proud of all our volunteers; of all those who are with us.
Today, December 3rd, is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, and we couldn’t have marked it in a better way, because all these volunteers gave their all for a life of equal opportunities of our “DIP-ovci”. The International Day of Persons with Disabilities is an international celebration promoted by the United Nations, since 1992.
We are proud that the @Association for the Development Civil Society, SMART, the City of Rijeka and the Primorsko-goranska County recognized this strength of the community we are creating, and awarded us the award for the Volunteering organizer; our volunteer Sandra Zgodić the award for PGŽ volunteer, and our volunteer Katarina, a commendation.
Their awards are also ours, so we are the luckiest in the world to have them.
Thank you to all the volunteers who support us and continue to be part of the inclusive community we are creating.
