From November 11th, through 12th, 2023, at noon, the DIP hosted a team of comic book artists who applied for the “24-hour drawing”, a competition held on the occasion of the World Day of 24-hour Comic Drawing”. At the same time, this competition for this part of Europe was held in Split, Zagreb, Gospić, Rijeka, Osijek, Ljubljana, Herceg Novi and Veles. The organizer for this part of Europe was the Croatian Authors’ Comics Association, with which we have been cooperating for several years on promoting comics.
All comics will be or are already available on the 24-hour drawing website https://www.24satnocrtanjestripa.com, for each city separately.
For Rijeka, the coordinators were Korina Hunjak and Ana Marija Lončar. We are glad that we were once again the home of the cartoonists for a short time. See you soon, from the 16th through the 19th of November at the Kvarner Colony of Authors’ Comics and Illustrations.
For this cooperation, the DIP also received a certificate of appreciation from the Association of Croatian Authors’ Comics, Rijeka branch; we are proud of it because we had another opportunity to contribute to the development of comics.
