Join the DIP’s big donation auction and bid to help us achieve our goal. The members of DIP are hardworking and they have prepared lots of colorful products for the donation auction. Why a donation auction? We collect donations for the renovation of our place, which entails construction of new toilets (male, female, for staff, shower) to meet the requirements of the Ordinance on Minimum Requirements for providing Social Services for obtaining the license from the Ministry of Labor, Pensions, Family and Social Policy. The aim is to increase the quality of work in the form of starting a half-day stay. Given the high cost of renovation (approximately 80,000 kn – 11,000 eur), we need your donations.
Who are we? In the association Society for Research and Support (DIP), we work with young people with developmental and learning disabilities (such as intellectual disabilities, dyslexia, dysgraphia), behavioral disorders (ADHD, autism spectrum), psychosocial functioning disabilities (as a result of mental illness, chronic diseases, emotional problems), young people in NEET position (not in education, employment, training) and others who need support.
Our goals are to prevent institutionalization, to empower young people and give them the opportunity to develop the skills needed to find a job. The Society for Research and Support (DIP) was founded in 2013 with the aim of improving the lives of citizens, preventing social exclusion, promoting healthy lifestyles, humanity and solidarity, doing so primarily for groups with fewer opportunities. We are experts in various fields – we bring together social pedagogues, special educators-rehabilitators, teachers, doctors, sociologists, psychologists, artists, but also people who have a lot of enthusiasm and love for others. We provide support to those who need it, especially young people. We love when others support us! We do not like to call our young people “users of services” because they actively participate in creating our programs. We are just the ones who can give them support, and they are in need of it. We are all members of DIP, and our goal is to do everything to prevent social exclusion of the groups we work with and for, exclusion based on some of their morally irrelevant characteristics, and we advocate equal opportunities for all, freedom of choice, human rights, and an open society. Our volunteers are our greatest wealth and value, together with young people we work with, and all our associates and donors.
