On Saturday, 20.11. from 12 until Sunday at 12:00 in DIP, in Rijeka, 100 were drawn per hour. Cartoonists, mainly of the younger generation, took part in the 24-hour drawing challenge organized by the Croatian Authors’ Comic, which was drawn in parallel in Split, Zagreb, Osijek, and Rijeka, but also online. According to the participants, mostly students of the Academy of Applied Arts but also our artistic director of the Kvarner Colony of Author Comics and Illustrations, Damir Steinfl, and others (15), they felt good in our DIP, and we are delighted to have hosted them and thus contributed to the promotion of comics and young forces, especially women in comics. It is nice to network with young people and Croatian authors’ comics, which is why we are still cooking our Kvarner colony for 2022.
