About Us
The Rijeka Tourist Board is a legal entity operating on the principle of destination management. It was established to promote and enhance tourism, as well as the economic interests of businesses and local hosts who provide hospitality and other tourism services, or carry out other activities directly connected with tourism in the City of Rijeka. The Tourist Board operates an Information Centre and Info Point: TIC and Info Point Trsat Castle.
The Tourist Information Centre (TIC) is located in an easily accessible and well-marked location on Rijeka’s main promenade, Korzo, at number 14, between the City Hall and the Korzo Department Store.
The TIC gathers and shares information with visitors about accommodation options and other tourist activities in the Kvarner region. Additionally, in accordance with legal regulations, it keeps a record of tourists and processes their data through the e-Visitor application. However, the TIC also plays a key role as the first point of contact for visitors arriving in our city. Here, professionally trained informants are on hand to provide high-quality and useful information. They often face various questions, some unrelated to tourism, but regardless of the nature of the question, they strive to quickly find the necessary information and meet the visitors’ needs.
There is a famous saying: “Only a satisfied guest always returns to the same place,” referring to our city. To ensure that the provision of information is as swift and efficient as possible, during the summer season, when the number of inquiries is at its peak, TIC employs external associates (students) who undergo training before starting their work. The TIC is not only for foreign and domestic tourists but also for the city’s residents, offering them detailed information, brochures, guides, and city maps.

Info Point Trsat Castle
At Trsat Castle, there is also an Info Point primarily intended for all those visiting the castle. When you arrive, feel free to approach us for detailed information about the castle itself, as well as any other information related to the “Grad koji teče” (in Croatian, meaning “The flowing city or city that flows like a river“… We are here for you!
Accessible Services:
The entrance to the Rijeka Information Centre at Korzo 14 is accessible to people with disabilities.
The entrance to the Info Point at Trsat Castle is also accessible to people with disabilities. While entry into the courtyard is possible, the medieval structure of Trsat Castle does not allow people in wheelchairs to explore the entire site.
For those who wish to explore the castle from a single spot, a digital info stand allows visitors to take a virtual tour of Trsat Castle.
