Lions Club Korzo has donated computers for the DIP members!

Yesterday (December 14th 2020) we were cheered up by the great, hardworking, joyful and positive female humanitarians from the Lions Club Korzo, who gathered and donated 7 computers for our DIP members.

This gift, as they say, has a bigger value than the actual value of the computers, which were personally delivered by them to our DIP place, because the warm and humane color of this gift is worth the most to us.

They gathered and took care of the delivery by themselves, and that is why this is one of those wonderful days, when the real and brilliant female humanitarian strength shines! Quick, expeditious, warm and focused, thank you Lionesses!

This is a continuation of a great collaboration with Lions Club Rijeka – Korzo.

When the computers are in their places we’ll send the pictures and we’re hoping to meet up soon in our DIP space, where we didn’t go in because of epidemiological measures.

December is the month of giving – everyone knows and feels that very well. Nowadays in this world of “shiny consumption” humanitarians always find the time, will and desire for little different kind of giving, which sometimes is more worth than “Christmas decoration”. With this motive and one more charity event, the members of Lions Club Korzo came to Rijeka’s famous society- DIP and were welcomed in the name of Society for Research and Support by the program manager Marta Berčić. Lion’s members Marina Seiler, Branka Crnković, Krasna Humski and Anči Bognolio arrived with their hands full of IT equipment. They brought seven computers, that will, with the help of DIP volunteers, be used by young people with developmental and psycho-social functioning disabilities between the age of 19 to 30 years.
