We invite you to the presentation of the poems collection “Pozitivom do života” by Danijela Ćuk at the DIP, Wednesday, February 1, 2023. at 5:00 p.m
Mrs. Danijela came to volunteer at DIP a few months ago, after volunteering in many associations in Rijeka and supporting many mothers and children. Soon, she wanted to do more for our DIP members, so she earmarked the funds from the sale of her first collection of poetry and prose for them.
We invite you to the presentation of the poem collection “Pozitivom do života“, by Danijela Ćuk, which will take place on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. at 5:00 p.m., in the Association for Research and Support (DIP), Wenzelova 2/1, Rijeka.
Citizens who want to get a copy and want to donate to our work can pay directly to our account; from December 18th 2022 until January 27th, 2023, EUR 318.80 was paid for the collection.
The author set a minimum price of HRK 30/€3.98, and citizens paid the amount of the donation according to their desire and abilities.
A big thank you to everyone for all the donations paid, and at the presentation you will be able to buy and donate the remaining 13 collections to us. We will spend all the collected funds on the purchase of equipment and works for the new kitchen.
In the last 6 months, we have conducted several fundraising campaigns to collect funds for the adaptation of the kitchen, in which people with disabilities, our cooks, develop a daily routine of preparing meals for their own needs, but also for working in auxiliary kitchen work.
An appropriately adapted kitchen is very important to us, so we have collected funds in several ways, but we still do not have enough. Therefore, we invite you to support us by publishing in the media and/or contributing, in order to finally collect enough funds for the renovation of the kitchen.
Until now, citizens and companies could pay in several ways, and they can still:
1. on platform A1: “Do the right thing” campaign https://cinipravustvar.hr/izazov/dip-ovci-zele-kuhati/51101 – Dipovci want to cook! – collected from November 2022 to January 2023, 502.45 euros, and you can still pay.
2. at the Advent auction of printed works from the 2nd Kvarner Colony of comics and illustrations: 130 euros were collected; you can still buy a printed version of the selected author’s work on the Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/media/set?vanity =102812631635828&set=a.632025855381167
3rd platform – the calendar of CROZ, which selected 12 associations that were presented for 12 months: an application tailored to our needs – for keeping records and reporting, and the calendar created by the CROZ team was also published in a printed edition, and was distributed to the partners of this company, but also published in an electronic edition – 12 selected associations represent 12 months, and by clicking you can donate to our work with a simple procedure, so you take a look at our calendar: https://croz.net/calendar-2023/ – the campaign continues ;
4. through the personal involvement of our supporters, for example, birthday celebrations where instead of giving gifts to the celebrants, guests donate to the kitchen: about 1,200 euros were collected
5. donations from employees of the Police Department of the Primorsko-goranska County; action for DIP’s kitchen: HRK 11,270 or EUR 1,496
6. requests for donations to companies and citizens on the bank account of the association: 1,400 euros were collected

In total, about 4,700 euros were collected for the renovation of the kitchen, and we need, for the renovation, the costs of water supply, drainage, new electrical installations, construction works, finishing works, for new kitchen elements, sink and taps and appliances (cooking plate, oven, fridge and more), about 7,500 euros.
